I am an installation artist and burgeoning artist philosopher. I am intrigued by the complexity of organisms within nature and their connection to humanity and the ethereal. The work I am making is predicated upon research of subjectivity and nature, via the human reaction to the environment and the other. I am interested in creating work that encourages communities to engage with each other through art that considers systems and attempts to change the normative principles which may not allow for the multiplicities of existence. I want to evoke from the viewer, the memory of a moment; one that is personal, yet shared by everyone...a micro epiphany. The quiet realization one has, when one’s surroundings, the earth, the world at large asserts its presence upon an individual. A potential moment of clarity when an individual understands they may be inconsequential and only a small part of a larger whole. Consequently, I remake these moments through non toxic, reused, and recycled materials in order to remind the viewer of the memory and to witness what the viewer will do with this enlightenment.
